Two women were arrested and a man died on Tuesday after a shootout in Campanha, Porto, between PSP agents and four people accused of robberies in the Grand Porto.
For what CM As it turned out, the driver, about 40 years old, was hit and died. Another man was wounded in the arm and was taken to hospital.
According to the PSP statement, the gang was driving a stolen car that had allegedly been used in several gas station robberies and had attracted the attention of authorities. When PSP attempted to approach the driver, the gang attempted to ram PSP’s unmarked vehicle.
The PSP ordered an investigation into police intervention.
