PSP identifies registered person by “pimples on face”

Vitor Macedo, who became known as the “King of Catalysts,” began his trial in Gondomar on Thursday for two crimes related to the theft of fuel from a gas station in Rio Tinto, Gondomar.

The first theft occurred on February 14, 2020. Vitor Macedo filled a canister with 50 liters of fuel in the trunk of his car and fled without paying. He returned three days later, filled the barrel with 86 liters and disappeared again. In total, this caused damage of approximately €192.

In court, the PSP agent who was in charge of the “King of Catalyst” trials at the time of the investigation stated that he identified the accused from CCTV images and explained that Vitor Macedo had “unique characteristics.”

“He was tall, thin and had a lot of acne on his face,” he assured the judge.
