A 19-year-old man stabbed his 52-year-old mother in the neck in Sakawema early Monday morning. The alarm was raised around 1:30 am.
For what CM It turned out that the man hit his mother at home after an argument. Neighbors heard screams, and when they tried to understand what was happening, they found a woman almost naked on the street.
The victim, bleeding, went down Escadinhas do Baran to ask for help.
A man who was passing by this place at that time asked the young man what happened and whether he needed help. He first asked to call 112, but then, armed with a knife, threatened him and stole two mobile phones.
A few minutes later he approached another man and managed to rob him too.
The young man’s mother was taken to the Santa Maria Hospital in Lisbon. Family member told CM that it is not life-threatening.
Police officers intercepted and detained the suspect.
