An American couple from Pennsylvania who have struggled with infertility for the past eight years now have four children. Zach and Britney Wolf adopted baby Charlie in July, and the family welcomed triplets this month.
“We always talked about a big family. This was our dream,” Zach, 31, said on the program. Good morning America.
On October 19, Brittney gave birth to two girls, No and Navy, and a boy, Noah.
The path to becoming parents began in 2015 when they got married, but after a year of no success they decided to see a fertility specialist. Even with treatment, Britney was unable to get pregnant.
“It was very difficult and stressful for us,” Zach said.
In the second round of fertilization in vitro, Britney became pregnant, but a few weeks later she had a miscarriage and decided to take a break to recover mentally.
Doctors told the couple they had no answer to why the treatment didn’t work because tests showed no obvious cause for their infertility problems.
In 2011, Zach was involved in an accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down, and for a time he believed his condition made procedures difficult. He took to Instagram to share his journey with his partner.
At the end of 2022, the couple began to study the topic of embryo donation and went to Tennessee to a specialized clinic.
During the same period, a neighbor approached them and asked if they would like to adopt a child. The couple immediately said yes.
Although they were excited about the adoption, they decided to continue embryo care at the same time. In April, they discovered that Britney was pregnant with triplets.
During pregnancy, the couple was worried about the possibility of miscarriage, but everything went without complications.
“We’ll blink and look back and ask, ‘How did we do it?’ Brittney said.
