Seven years ago, Dinay Alves Gomes killed three women aged between 16 and 28 and dumped their bodies in a septic tank at the nursery where he worked in Tire, Cascais municipality.
Judicial police carried out a lightning search operation to find Michelle Ferreira, Lidiana Santana and Tayana Diaz, discovering the victims’ bodies seven months later. After forensic examination and collection of evidence, it was possible to identify the killer, who fled to the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil, where he is from.
In cooperation with Brazilian authorities, Dinai Alves Gomez was arrested in September 2016.
Michelle Ferreira was in a relationship with Dinai Alves Gomez and revealed that she was pregnant. A man, married and had a daughter, was afraid that his wife would find out about the extramarital affair, and decided to kill his beloved.
The indictment filed in 2017 states that the deaths of the three women occurred on February 1, 2016.
Dinay Alves Gomes was living in the house with the victims at the time. Lydiana, Michelle’s sister, and her friend Tayana were the first to be attacked, killed and thrown into a septic tank. 12 hours later, Dinai came to Michelle’s work and treacherously killed her.
