Judicial police arrested two men and a woman, aged 28 to 55, Russian citizens, who abducted a 42-year-old Romanian in their car for three days in Meco, Sesimbra. The victim did not require hospital care, although he spent part of the time in captivity and was attacked.
The kidnapping took place on December 29 and was stopped only at 1:00 pm on January 1 after the intervention of the SP. The first people to receive the warning were GNR, but once the military realized what was happening they called PJ. The investigation of this type of crime (kidnapping) is carried out by the National Anti-Terrorism Unit. The exact motives are still unknown. PJ’s investigation continues as there may be other suspects in the kidnapping who have not yet been found.
