Pedro Nuno Santos’ proposal for a National Secretariat, the party’s governing body, received 91.6% of the vote, according to official socialist sources.
The list of the PS Political Commission was approved with 92.4% of the vote – a list of 65 members resulting from an agreement between the team of Pedro Nuno Santos and his opponents in the Socialist leadership race José Luis Carneiro and Daniel. Adriano. According to this agreement, the Minister of the Interior appointed 35% of the members, and Daniel Adrian two.
The list of the Political Commission was presented to journalists, the first three being Alvaro Belesa, who supported Pedro Nuno Santos, and the President’s Secretary of State André Mos Caldas, who coordinated the proposal of José Luis Carneiro.
