Two men and a woman, aged between 21 and 31, were arrested on suspicion of attempting to murder a 42-year-old man after carrying out a house robbery in Faro. According to the judicial police, the events took place last Saturday, January 13.
“The suspects entered the premises where the victim and his companion were located with the initial motive of robbery, attacking them with a bladed weapon, at which point they reacted in an attempt to repel the attack,” the report said. .
The victim suffered serious injuries to his chest and abdomen and was still in hospital at the Algarve University Hospital.
The suspect, 31 years old, was discovered and detained on January 15, and a preventive measure was applied to him in the form of preventive detention.
This Thursday, two more suspects, aged 21 and 23, were found and detained. Young people with a history of theft and drug offenses will be subject to judicial questioning and any coercive measures deemed appropriate.
