In Porto, a 34-year-old electrician was arrested twice on the same day for breaking into the same house to steal a water heater cylinder. As a result, he was detained by PSP.
The suspect entered the woman’s home on Rua de Requesende shortly after 9am yesterday. A resident noticed this, called the police department and the man was detained inside the house. He failed to steal the cylinder. At the end of the day, after 5 pm, he returned to the same room. The resident left the house and contacted the police again. This time the suspect managed to steal the cylinder, but he disappeared on the roof of a neighboring house, which is empty. He fell from the roof of the house, was injured and was eventually apprehended by agents from the Francos Police Station.
The suspect will appear in court today.
