“A government so flexible in opening disciplinary processes and investigations should take advantage of this speed to at least open ways to solve the problems faced by professionals,” defended Paulo Raimundo in Guarda, where he participated in a public speech. session of the CDU.

The leader of the PKP considered that “the demands are fair, regarding the recognition and evaluation of the work” of law enforcement specialists, he emphasized.

Paulo Raimundo said that “the government has all the conditions to respond, at least to open the paths.” “This is the same management government that last week decided, in theory, let’s look at it in practice, to allocate 500 million euros to farmers. It did the job. But this is a government of management,” he said.

The communist leader emphasized that there are “thousands and thousands of security forces on the streets, which means pressure and a feeling of injustice.”

“In this situation, shouldn’t any government with common sense respond immediately, even if it opens the door to the future?” he asked.

At a public meeting held at the San Miguel Cultural and Social Security Center in Guarda, Paulo Raimundo reiterated the idea that PS and PSD are not the same and have “great fundamental differences”, but when “the time comes to choose interests economic groups and people’s lives converge.”

Passing this Sunday through the municipalities of Guarda and Covilhã in the Castelo Branco region, the PCP leader has on his agenda a meeting with the Platform for the replacement of SCUT on the A23 and A25 motorways.

In Guarda, Paulo Raimundo recalled the promise of PS leader Pedro Nuno Santos to cancel the fees. “The PS had the opportunity to solve the problem from the very beginning with our proposals, and also had two years of an absolute majority, it could take the initiative to solve it. He argued that “the path was stopped only thanks to the role of the PKP and the CDU.”

The CDU candidate for the Guarda district, José Pedro Branquinho, highlighted at the meeting the priorities of the Guarda district, such as the immediate opening of the Beira Alta line and the Douro line to Barca d’Alva, the abolition of tolls, investment in family agriculture and the construction of a hostel for Polytechnic students .
