PCP wants to reduce fees and charges charged by banks

PCP Secretary General Paulo Raimundo defended this Monday in an interview with the publication CMTVthat the reduction in fees and commissions charged by banks, estimated at approximately 6.5 million euros per day, will allow families and small and medium-sized companies to have greater financial accessibility to solve their daily difficulties.

Asked about the proposal to raise the minimum wage to 1,000 euros this year, Raimundo supported it, saying it was difficult for people to live on their current salaries. Part of the profits of economic groups should be used to increase income.

Regarding the possibility that part of the losses of votes of the CDU (coalition between PKP and PEV) was due to Cega, the communist leader refused and complained about the main character given to this party. “We are creating a monster,” he noted. Regarding possible post-election agreements, he said it was impossible to “carry out left-wing policies without the presence of the PKP.”
