“Miguel Albuquerque is not limited in his rights, but I think it is a disgrace to regional autonomy if he insists on running again, and it is a disgrace to the PSD,” Rui Rocha told reporters in Funchal.
The IL leader commented on the fact that the PSD/Madeira president said on Monday, after a meeting of the party’s Regional Political Commission, that he would “almost certainly” reapply for the position, whose internal elections were scheduled for the 21st. March.
“That is your right, but I think it is important that politicians, those who are in charge of politics, realize that, as they sometimes say, the time for justice has come, and that at this moment the time for Miguel Albuquerque is the time for justice. it’s time to defend ourselves,” he said during a campaign rally at the Lavradores market in Funchal.
According to Rui Rocha, the training solution “is unreliable, temporary” and “does not address the essence of the process.”
