Some Iberia passengers this Saturday experienced a computer problem that delayed dozens of international and domestic flights.
A problem in the booking and boarding system is at the heart of the situation.
According to an Iberia spokesperson quoted Reutersflights to London, Lisbon, Vigo, Barcelona and Jerez were cancelled.
“At 11:30 am, there were one hour delays on flights to Spain and Europe. [O problema] Dozens suffered [de serviços]”, the spokeswoman added.
“[O problema] it is in Madrid, but affects other airports as well.” We have volunteers working to fix the problem as quickly as possible,” he adds.
The airline has already taken to Twitter to apologize to passengers.
Due to connectivity issues with our systems, today’s flights are delayed. We apologize to our customers and thank them for their understanding. Everyone at Iberia is working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
