PSP Funchal, Madeira, arrested one person and identified four people in the synthetic drug trade.
The intervention took place on Monday. Thus, the arrest of a 46-year-old man took place in the Romeiras area, in Funchal. After searching his home, agents seized 18 doses of hashish, €580, as well as 21 individual doses of Alfa PHP, also known as Bloom or Meow Meow.
A police source said CM that it is the most used of the synthetic drugs that have invaded the autonomous region in recent years. It is produced as an agricultural fertilizer and is smoked or inhaled by consumers. This results in a feeling of uncontrollable euphoria that lasts for hours and can lead users to self-harm.
During the same operation, the PSP also identified three men aged 17 and 18 years. They were both caught in the Avenida Almirante Reis area of Funchal with 62 doses of hashish and 10 doses of Bloom.
Finally, the police operation also identified a 32-year-old man caught with 55 doses of Bloom.
