A 46-year-old man was charged with exposing, distributing and selling illegal gambling-related materials in an establishment located in the municipality of Lousada. During Wednesday’s inspection, GNR seized 130 bingo machines, 25 boxes of poker chips and two casino roulette wheels.
The facts were sent to the Lousada court. The accused man is the owner of a cafe. This establishment was only one of several where the military operated in this municipality.
Also on Wednesday afternoon, PSP detained a 30-year-old trader for having three illegal slot machines in her cafe on Rua Ramalde do Meio in Porto, which were confiscated, as well as the amount of 178 euros.
