Diogo, 27, was shot dead on Rua Doutor Pedro Souza in the Ramalde district of Porto this Friday. The man was released from prison about two months ago for drug trafficking offenses and was allegedly killed while settling scores.
According to CM, walking along the sidewalk, the man was surprised by a hooded man who was hiding behind a wall, in the vegetation, with a pistol. He was shot five times: three in the head and two in the chest.
The victim was accompanied by a friend who was not injured.
Despite the efforts of rescuers, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The body will be taken to the Porto Institute of Legal Medicine for an autopsy.
The suspect fled after committing the crime. The alarm came in around 12:40 p.m.
