On Wednesday morning, a fire broke out at a woodworking plant in Sobros, Paredes.
The flames are extinguished on the spot, in one of the warehouses of the company, there are several corporations from the municipality of Paredes – Volunteer firefighters Paredes, Lordelo, Baltar, Rebordosa and Sete – a total of 30 people and 12 cars.
The alarm was announced at 10:07 am. The flames engulfed the upholstery and chair manufacturing area.

According to him, about 15 people worked at the factory during the fire, but “no casualties were reported.”
Combat assets managed to bring the fire under control on Wednesday afternoon. “Although still active [em fase de conclusão]the fire was localized at the place where it originated, ”said a source in the command of the Paredes corporation, indicating that at 16:00 44 operators and 19 pieces of equipment were still at the scene.
