PSP Porto is conducting a mega operation to stop illegal security. At stake are several cases of aggression in a nightclub in Vila Nova de Gaia, where several incidents have been recorded. There are also suspicions that security guards are involved in cases of complex collections.
The investigation centers on one of the fashion houses on Gaia Pier. Some reports report serious beatings.
One of the cases involves Enzo Carvalho, a former reality TV contestant who was attacked in Gaia. Enzo told CM who was caught off guard by a group of at least six people after he refused to give money to a security guard who was not doing any work at his bar.

Another case involves a family of five, including a 16-year-old youth, who claim they were brutally attacked by five men, who they claim were security guards, at a bar on the Vila Nova de Gaia pier.
“We want justice because we don’t know why we were attacked in this way,” one of the victims tells CM. “I was pushed off the second floor and punched. My sister’s leg was broken and my teenage nephew was thrown down the stairs,” he adds. Another family member, 24, who suffered serious facial injuries, said he feared the worst. “I thought I was going to die. For me it was attempted murder,” he says.
