This Monday, the Socialist General Secretary set the goal of winning the European elections “with an approved record of quality and experience”, ensuring that all invitations are accepted and preventing a complete renewal of names from being a rupture.
Pedro Nuno Santos spoke to journalists following the meeting of the National Political Commission of the PS, headed by former Health Minister Marta Temido, which was approved this Monday by that body with 76% of votes in favor.
The PS leader believes that this list is of “very high quality”, it contains names “with experience” and it is “equal and led by a great woman who the Portuguese know very well” and who, in a “difficult moment” such as the Covid pandemic, 19 “was intended to protect the Portuguese.”
