The Secretary of State for Portuguese Communities begins an official seven-day visit to Portuguese communities in Brazil this Friday with a working meeting at the residence of the Portuguese Consul General in Sao Paulo, the government said.
In a statement issued this afternoon, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that during the visit, José Cesario “will take part in several already scheduled meetings and engagements with local authorities, public councilors and members of communities at large.”
This Saturday’s agenda includes a visit to Lar da Provedoria da Comunidade Portuguesa to meet the first supplier and plan event support for 2024, as well as attending the April 25th commemoration event organized by the Consulate General of Portugal. in São Paulo (with the support of the Portuguese-Brazilian Community Council and the City of São Paulo).
