Joca, a former PSP agent and cousin of Bruno Pida, was arrested by the Porto judicial police in a large-scale operation that is still ongoing. Hoka, as he is called, is suspected of running the largest drug trafficking network in our country. He inherited the market left vacant by Xuxa and now runs a complex criminal scheme to import drugs from South America.

Hoka was involved in several cases, but he always got away with it. He was the one who gave Nuno Gaiato a bulletproof vest to protect himself from the night gangs (Nuno Gaiato was the first victim of the Noita Branca trial) and was also accused of kidnapping Berto Maluco, also killed in the same series of murders. .

Joca reappeared when the PSP searched the home of Eduardo Silva, owner of SPDE, the company that still provides security for FC Porto. Eduardo then mistook the police for bandits and called Joque when he saw crews approaching his house. He was detained because he was armed and was acting as a security guard of sorts.

The operation this Tuesday is led by Judge Pedro Miguel Vieira. The investigation has been ongoing for more than a year.

The network’s second number is named Paulo, and he is also one of the targets, as is a man named Vitinha, who will be one of the investors. There will be at least one arrest in the Minho area, a person associated with the speedboat business to allow drugs to enter our country.

Last summer, as part of an investigation, Brazilian Federal Police discovered a farm vehicle concealing approximately 43 kg of cocaine ready to be shipped to the port of Leixões.

The suspects will be questioned at the TIC starting Wednesday.
