A man was punched in front of the Bloc de Esquerda headquarters in Lisbon.
It all happened during a rally by the far-right Ergue-te party, which was attended by elements of the extremist group Habeas Corpus, led by former judge Ruy Fonseca e Castro. The victim was outraged by the extremist words spoken by the former magistrate, who had already been expelled by the High Council of Justice.
The Left Bloc has confirmed a rally organized by the far-right party will take place this Monday at 13:00 near the country’s headquarters. The party did not know about this initiative in advance.
TO CMBE confirms that the attack on an unidentified man was witnessed. The block immediately reported the facts to the PSP and will file a formal complaint regarding the nature of these actions.
