This Friday afternoon, PSP representatives approached two property crime suspects on Rua Sa da Bandeira in Porto. In the action, carried out by the 1st Police Department’s Rapid Response and Surveillance Team in collaboration with the PSP’s Criminal Investigations Division, agents – as seen in the video in which morning Post had access – they open the car doors and, with a pistol in their hands, forcefully kick the driver out of the car, handcuff him and immobilize him on the ground.
Persons of Algerian nationality are suspected of stealing from the inside of a car. The stolen materials were recovered from inside the vehicle in which they were transported, including cell phones and computers.
Two foreigners were not detained, but an investigation is underway and they are suspected of crimes against property.
