This Saturday, the PS general secretary asked the government whether any private company in the consulting sector was involved in the preparation of the health emergency plan, how it was hired and what social media information it had access to.
“There is a question that, by the way, I would like to ask the government: apparently they had a consultation with a private company – I say, apparently, that’s why the question is – was this health emergency plan created by the government, the Ministry of Health in partnership with private company,” asked Pedro Nuno Santos in the final segment of his performance at the European rally, which took place this Saturday in Porto.
According to the CoP leader, “the private consulting company apparently participated in consultation meetings with various organizations, private and public,” and it is unknown “to what extent it was also involved in the development of the health emergency plan.”
“We want to start here right now because if there is transparency, transparency that is systematically required from the CoP and the CoP management: was this plan made or not in collaboration with a private healthcare company? consulting company, how this company was hired, what information from social networks it had access to,” asked the socialist leader.
