PSP on the street watching out for pickpockets in Santo Antonio

The anti-pickpocket squad, which makes arrests at the scene for this crime, will be present at the Santo António weddings, which take place between the town hall and the Lisbon Cathedral, and then at the reception.

At night, Avenida da Liberdade hosts a parade of the People’s Marches, as well as folk festivals. In addition to patrolling against pickpockets, the PSP employs uniformed officers and a dedicated police unit.

The Intervention Corps and kinesthetic teams will be deployed throughout the city. However, PSP reports that the city will be able to park for free in more than 1,900 spaces to reach Santos from 6pm this Wednesday until 6am Thursday, a municipal holiday.

Parks in Colégio Militar, Estrada da Luz, Areeiro, Universidade, Campo Grande, Ameixoeira, Avenida de Pádua and HUB Criativo do Beato are free to use.
