Spanish footballer Antonio Adan said goodbye to Sporting fans this Monday, thanking them and admitting that he was surprised at how happy he was to represent the club for four years.
“Dear Sporting fans, when I joined Sporting four years ago, I never imagined that I would be so happy to defend this emblem. I leave with pride that I represented this great club and left everything on the field,” said the goalkeeper. Adan in a video posted on social networks.
The Spaniard, who has been injured for several months this season, thanked everyone who made the “beautiful story” at Sporting possible, namely his teammates, technical staff, directors and fans.
While playing for Sporting, 37-year-old Adan won two league titles, two League Cups and the Candido Oliveira Super Cup.
