In a brutal crime reminiscent of the executions carried out by the Mafia decades ago against rivals or authorities in barbershops, a 28-year-old man was shot six times in the head while sitting in the chair of a barber shop where he went for a haircut and shave in the city of Uberlandia, in the interior of the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. The crime occurred in broad daylight in an establishment in the Laranjeiras area, where at that time, in addition to the victim, there were several other clients and several hairdressers.
After shooting his supposed rival, the shooter took his time, got on his motorcycle and disappeared. Everyone in the barber shop was shocked by the brutality of the execution, no one could do anything to prevent the death of the victim, and the fear was so great that the barber who cut his hair remained standing there, not even moving. completely shocked.
According to residents of the region, the shooter wanted to take revenge on the victim, who contacted his wife while he was in prison. After leaving prison and learning about the alleged betrayal, the criminal began to pursue the man, who took advantage of the fact that he was behind bars to ingratiate himself with his wife, and before the murder, the attacker had already beaten his rival twice and threatened to kill him, which he now carried out .
