The Sporting team arrived in the Algarve this Saturday, where they will hold a pre-season training camp until the 24th. Around 30 Sporting fans were waiting for the team at the entrance to the tourist resort, where the training camp will take place.
The group, led by Ruben Amorim, will be based at the Cascade Resort, with two preparation games scheduled at the Algarve Stadium, one next Wednesday against Union Saint-Gilloise, the Belgian runners-up and winners of the Belgian Cup, and another against Sevilla on the 23rd.

Vladan Kovacevic, Sporting’s first reinforcement in goal, is now under the command of Ruben Amorim.
The group will soon be joined by three players who represented their teams at the European Championship: Portugal’s Goncalo Inacio, Belgium’s Zeno Debast and Denmark’s Morten Hjulmand.
Franco Israel, who played for Uruguay in the Copa America, is not expected to return until after pre-season training.
