Two people were seriously injured Sunday evening in a violent collision between two vehicles in Agueda. Three other people were slightly injured in the same accident.
Around 9:00 p.m., a traffic accident was reported on the descent of Marnell, at the intersection of the municipalities of Trofa, Segadaes and Lamas do Vouga. The firefighters of Águeda and Albergaria-a-Velha and the Aveiro ambulance were also called.
The GNR of Agueda is investigating the circumstances of the violent clash. The victims were taken to the hospital in Coimbra. The reference hospital will be Agueda. However, this Sunday evening the surgical department is closed and there are no surgeons in the emergency department until Monday. Despite this, four victims were taken to Aveiro and then to Coimbra.
