According to an announcement published this Thursday by the Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP) agency, the restoration of the Paranhos intersection in Porto will affect traffic on Via de Cintura Interna (VCI) during September.
The issue concerns the restoration of the flyover at the Paranhos interchange in the VCI in Porto, which will lead to traffic restrictions between the A3 and Amial motorway interchanges from Tuesday to 5 October at night.
According to the announcement published this Thursday by IP in the press, from Tuesday to Sunday of next week there will be “suppression of the right lane in the direction of the crescent (Freixo – Arrábida) between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.”
From September 9 to 14, there will be “suppression of the left and central lanes in the direction of the crescent (Freixo – Arrábida) between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., with the central lane closed only from 1:00 a.m.”
From September 16 to 21, the “right lane down (Arrábida – Freixo) will be closed between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.”
Between September 23 and 28, there will be “suppression of the left and central bands in the descending direction (Arrábida – Freixo) between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., with only the central band remaining suppressed from 1:00 a.m.”
Finally, from September 24 to October 5, there will be a “suppression of the access branch to the Paranhos node between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.”
The IP states that “works will be properly marked on site” and thanks “users for their understanding of any inconvenience caused during the work.”
