This inspection operation, associated with carnival, a festive season traditionally associated with the sale of costumes and accessories intended for entertainment purposes, was carried out “in the last few days” from the north to the south of the country. , regional divisions of ASAE .
The main purpose of Operação Entrudo was to verify compliance with general legislation on the safety of products placed on the market, the body said in a statement, noting that this verification ensures the protection of health and physical safety within the rights of consumers.
