Ukraine is preparing a counter-offensive against the Russian army, Defense Minister of the Kyiv government Oleksiy Reznikov said on the day that marks one year since Russia’s last military campaign against Ukrainian territory.
“We will attack harder, from greater distances, in the air, on land, at sea and in cyberspace. There will be our counteroffensive. We are working hard on its preparation,” Reznikov said in a message posted this Friday on the digital platform Facebook.
The military offensive launched by Russia on February 24, 2022 in Ukraine has so far caused the flight of more than 14 million people – 6.5 million internally displaced people and more than eight million to European countries – according to the latest UN figures. which classifies this refugee crisis as the worst in Europe since World War II (1939-1945).
