According to information available on the website of the Attorney General of Lisbon (PGDL), 17 people were arrested for offenses of domestic violence, aggravated threat, aggravated injury, violation of qualified physical integrity, and possession of a prohibited weapon against spouses. partners, ex-partners, children and mother.
In one of the cases, the crime of resistance and coercion was committed against a worker.
These arrests were reported to the PGDL as part of the intervention of the State Ministry of SEIVD-NAP (Joint Specialized Unit for Combating Domestic Violence — Core of Criminal Cases) Sintra, Lisbon region.
The information of the PGDL adds that “preventive measures were applied in the form of detention, a ban on contacts, a ban on approaching the place of residence and place of work.”
Measures were also applied prohibiting contact and staying in the home or home of the victim, prohibiting contact with electronic surveillance and the obligation to provide treatment for alcohol and drug dependence.
