The Judicial Police (PJ) confiscated on Wednesday in Albufeira, Algarve, a total of 1.2 tons of cocaine and arrested six men of different nationalities on suspicion of drug dealing, it was announced this Thursday.
The JV statement said the group, whose members, aged between 24 and 62, came from various countries, namely Brazil, Croatia, Italy and Portugal, were arrested at the scene of the crime, as well as a heavy vehicle used to transport drugs.
“The heavy vehicle was used to transport a drug, communications equipment, large sums of money, documents and other items with a relevant interest to prove the facts under study,” the note says.
