The Ibero-American summit ended this Saturday with consensus on four main goals: an environmental charter, digital technologies, food security and a financial architecture, the last of which was discussed until the last moment.
In addition, the heads of state and government of the Ibero-American countries reached agreements on issues such as the Third Four-Year Cooperation Action Plan 2023-2027, the decision to promote gender equality and the commitment to promote democracy.
At the final press conference, the host of the summit, President of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, said that compromises had also been reached on international law, including the principle of sovereignty, non-interference in the affairs of states and their legal equality.
