A teacher covered the mouth of an 11-year-old boy during a class in North Carolina, USA.
The child took a selfie and sent it to his mother Katherine Webster as a plea for help. “I don’t know what to do,” he wrote. Seeing the image, the mother reacted: “What is this? Who did it? I’m going.” The episode took place on February 14th.
In an interview with F.bull, Ekaterina said that her son was forced to tape his face to the entire class and that two other classmates were subjected to the same disciplinary action. “He felt humiliated,” he admitted.
Katherine Webster also reported that the teacher in question never spoke to her about her son’s behavior, taking punitive action as an alternative.
The child’s mother immediately raised the matter with the director and an investigation was carried out. “We can confirm that whenever such allegations arise, our administration responds quickly by investigating the allegations and occasionally removing staff from classrooms until a full investigation is completed.”
The assault has yet to be charged, but the teacher resigned two days after the incident.
