Stormy Daniels, the adult film star behind the case against Donald Trump, said in an interview with Piers Morgan on Thursday that she doesn’t think the former US president should be arrested if he’s found guilty of hiding payments he silenced her. “I don’t think your crimes against me deserve jail,” said Daniels, quoted by Reuters.
Daniels told Piers Morgan in an interview that aired on streaming service Fox Nation that if the case goes to trial, she would like to testify. “I have nothing to hide. I am the only person who spoke the truth,” he said.
The porn actress also said she “went this far not to back down” and make amends to Trump, saying it would be like “paying a rapist for sex.”
