A couple from Michigan, USA, gave birth to a girl after 138 years, when only boys were born in the family.
Carolyn and Andrew Clark met 10 years ago. At the time, Andrew warned his wife that he might not have a daughter. due to the long line of male-dominated births in the family, according to Fox News.
The couple, who were already parents of Cameron’s boy, were eventually surprised to learn that Caroline was expecting a girl. The disclosure was made at a baby gender reveal party.
Carolyn spoke to her sister-in-law about the possibility that “at some point a girl will show up, whether it be us or maybe our children. When we took a bite out of a cookie, I looked at her and asked, “Is it pink? ‘ said the woman. The family was in “total shock” when they realized that the chain of boys would break after 138 years.
The couple welcomed Audrey, who joined Cameron.
