Several photos showing singer Marilia Mendonza’s body during an autopsy have been posted on social media.
According to globe, the images appear in an accident report delivered to the authorities that killed the artist. The civilian police have already said they have initiated an investigation into the distribution of the photos.
Marilia Mendonza’s mother, Ruth Moreira, said “the family is appalled by such enormity”. In a video posted to Instagram, the singer’s mother thanked her for the support she received and asked people not to share the pictures.
Marilia Mendonsa, 26, died on her way to a concert in November 2021 when the plane she was on crashed in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil.
