Two people were shot dead this Thursday on Rua do Conde Redondo in Lisbon, but their lives are not in danger, a source from the Public Security Police (PSP) told Lusa.
“The PSP service found two victims: a man with injuries to the lumbar region and one leg and a woman with injuries to both legs,” said PSP Metropolitan Command Commissioner Ricardo Barata.
The incident took place on Rua do Conde Redondo, close to the Elefante Branco nightclub, and the warning was issued around 4:15 am, he added.
Two victims were taken to the hospital, “their lives are not in danger,” he added.
At 10:15 a.m., a source from the PSP Lisbon Metropolitan Command told Lusa that the man suspected of shooting the victims “ran away on foot” and his whereabouts are still unknown.
According to the same source, the judicial police are already investigating the case.
