Renewed clashes in Sudan threaten to leave civilians and foreign diplomats

The commander of the Sudanese army, Abdelfatah al-Burhan, said this Saturday that the withdrawal of foreign citizens and diplomats from Khartoum is expected in the coming hours, but the resumption of hostilities could make all operations unfeasible.

Before the clashes resumed, on the second day of the truce, al-Burhan assured that the air withdrawal of American, British, French, Chinese and other citizens and diplomats was scheduled for this Saturday, as Saudi Arabia and Jordan had to withdraw their fellow citizens by land.

However, fighting between military rivals resumed this Saturday in the Sudanese capital Khartoum, near the presidential palace and the General Command of the Army, when a shell hit a residential area, killing six people, according to a Spanish news agency. EFE humanitarian sources and witnesses.
