The performance of the education system during the school years, when the need for distance learning arose due to the Covid-19 pandemic, did not change significantly compared to previous years.
As soon as the first results of Infoescolas 2022 are known, the collected information indicates a positive evolution of the scores between 2017/18 and 2020/21. The data refer to the analysis of internal classifications in science and humanities courses in public and private institutions in mainland Portugal.
Infoescolas 2022 reveals 88 indicators related to 1,175,000 students from about five thousand schools.
The pandemic forced school closures in the 2019/20 and 2020/21 school years.
