On Wednesday, a shooting in Atlanta, USA, killed one person and injured three, local police said on Twitter.
“Three were hospitalized, the fourth died on the spot,” police said.
Authorities identified the suspect in the shooting as Deion Patterson, 24, who said he was armed and dangerous.
According to Reuters, Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens advised residents of the area to take refuge in this place, and the police sealed off some Midtown streets.
Atlanta Public Schools said several schools in the area will operate outdoors for the remainder of the day as a precaution.
