A man and a woman, aged 54 and 37 respectively, were arrested for the murder of an elderly couple in Baleizao, Beja. This is stated in the message of the Judicial Police.
On Wednesday, the bodies of the victims were found in a badly decomposed state in the house where they lived, in Quinta do Paraiso, in the parish of Baleizau. The couple’s son, a German citizen, could not contact his parents for more than a month and was worried. Contacted the German embassy in Portugal, which subsequently issued a warning.
Presumably, the crimes were committed in April last year. The victims are beaten to death.
ABOUT morning Post knows that the aggressors lived with the old people for a week before the fatal attacks. They claimed they had nowhere to live and asked to live in an annex of the house in exchange for food. The motive for the crimes may have been a misunderstanding between the group.
The killers, who escaped after the crime, were discovered this morning in Aljustrel, where they had already rented a house.
The detainees will be present in the court of Beja this Friday for the first judicial interrogation and the application of appropriate coercive measures.
