Britain on Monday left a warning to Russia that it would continue to provide military support to Ukraine in the long term, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said after meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
In response to Russia, which on Monday criticized the UK’s supply of additional weapons to Ukraine, warning that it would cause “more destruction”, Sunak promised that “there will be more support in the future.”
“I think it is important for the Kremlin to know that we are not going to back down. We’re here for the long haul. will have the means to defend itself in the future,” the British ruler told a group of journalists at the country residence of Checkers Court, about 60 kilometers from London.
