A woman in her 40s was seriously injured this Friday afternoon in a collision between a truck and five vehicles in Gaya. In the same crash, three men in their 30s and 40s suffered minor injuries.
The A44 motorway is closed to traffic in the south-north direction, where a traffic accident warning was issued in Vilar do Paraiso around 15:00. The ambulance and resuscitation Gaia brigade, the Sapadores de Gaia battalion, firefighters from Valadares and Coimbroens were called to the scene.
The GNR Porto Road Squad and the Gaia Municipal Police were also mobilized.
The injured were taken to Gaia Hospital.
