According to information available on the website of the National Emergency Management and Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC), at 6:30 am, about 20 incidents were recorded, mainly in the north of the continent, most of them falling trees and flooding of structures or surfaces.
At that time, more than 40 operators were involved in resolving various situations caused by rain and wind.
According to the ANEPC website, incidents were recorded in Porto, Aveiro, Évora, Coimbra, Castelo Branco and Viseu.
In a report published Wednesday evening, ANEPC indicated that until 10:30 p.m., 669 situations caused by bad weather had been reported, with the Porto metropolitan subregion concentrating the largest number of cases. In the city of Porto, a family of five had to be relocated.

The total number of cases since the orange alert was 955, most of which occurred between the Porto metropolitan area and the Lisbon metropolitan area.
Citizens Advocacy (ANEPC) urges careful driving, avoiding activities near coastlines and limiting travel to only what is essential.

According to the IPMA, rough seas will increase with waves expected on the west coast, with waves ranging from 4 to 5 meters in the western quadrant, increasing to 5-7 meters in height, reaching a maximum height of 14 meters and continuing throughout Friday.
On the southern coast of the Algarve, waves will be from the southwest, reaching heights of 4 to 4.5 meters in the afternoon.

The municipality of Porto recorded about 120 cases of bad weather between 20:00 yesterday and 7:00 this Thursday. Falls of trees and buildings were mainly recorded, as well as flooding of roads and some houses. This morning, VCI access to Campo Alegre became impassable for the third time since Wednesday evening.
