Jeffrey Foskett, a member of the American band The Beach Boys, died on Monday at the age of 67.
Brian Wilson, co-founder of the group, confirmed the death in a post on social media. “I’m devastated. He was always there for me when we went on tour. He was a great musician, a great guitarist and could sing like an angel,” he wrote.
The deceased musician was diagnosed with a thyroid tumor. Jeffrey opened up about the disease in his latest social media post, where he appeared at the hospital where he was being treated.
“These people [equipa médica] They gave me what no one else could… LIFE… I’ve been testing myself for the last four years. It challenges body, mind and spirit, but it gave me the opportunity to meet my grandson Domenic,” he wrote.
