A Ryanair plane that flew from Katowice, Poland to Athens, Greece, received a bomb warning this Sunday, AFP reported.
According to the Greek Ministry of Defense, the plane landed shortly before 16:00 at Athens International Airport, escorted by Greek Air Force F-16 fighters.
The flight was followed by 192 people who were removed by the security forces.
According to the official Greek agency ANA, the Boeing 737 has already been inspected by a sapper brigade.
The source of the threat is not yet known.
