Meta – the company founded by Mark Zuckerberg and which owns Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, among others – will begin identifying sounds, images and videos generated by artificial intelligence (AI) on its social networks from next May. The information was revealed by Monika Bickert, responsible for the organization’s content policy, who explained that such materials will now be accompanied by a mention of “Made with AI” (“made using artificial intelligence”).
Meta recently admitted that it has entered the race to create superhuman intelligence and is investing billions of euros in its research every year. In the same statement, Monika Bickert emphasized that Meta will continue to remove from platforms any content created by humans or artificial intelligence that violates the rules “against interference in the electoral process, intimidation, harassment, violence or any other policy that manifests itself in the company’s public standards.
